He's retired from flashing

Scottish agriculture has bid farewell to one of the most talented livestock photographers.
John Fraser retired from the Scottish Farmer the other week after 30 plus years with the august organ.
I can admit to having had considerable fun with JF for many years. He helped liven up many events thanks to him, like me, being non-politically correct.
I can only aspire to his considerable prowess at being non-PC and hope one day to emulate his honours degree in the subject.
JF's early retirement came as something of a surprise to him and the rest of us; he got just a week's notice.
I've been sent anonymously, of course, several pictures of JF in his younger days when as a fresh-faced youngster he joined The SF from the RAF. Look at the hair!
One can only speculate as to the need for a white coat. Must be something to do with his previous doctorate in non-PC activities.
I also captured him on his last day at work at the National Stallion Show in Perth. He's pictured with Louis Flood, the elder statesmen of Scottish agricultural photographer, and the man who introduced JF to the art of taking pictures of livestock at a Highland Cattle sale in Oban 30 years ago.
JF was presented with a number of bottles of whisky at the stallion show. The sign at Perth Agricultural Centre merely reflects the situation (no digital manipulation was involved, ha ha).
