Looking forward

The Guild has made considerable progress over the last 12 months.
Council has drafted new rules that will be put to the annual meeting in March. The forms are now out for Direct Debit; please don't forget to return them to the treasurer so you can take part in the prize draw to win a case a wine.
We've also set the ball rolling on securing added benefits of membership for members and I've thrown down the gauntlet to the International Federation of Agricultural Journalists to do likewise.
Looking ahead our annual meeting on March 14 in London is going to have one of the world's leading authorities on bluetongue as a speaker.
And we're considering a new competition for young members, the first prize of which would be an all-expenses paid trip to the IFAJ's annual congress in Austria and Slovenia.
The Guild is moving forward.
Merry Christmas and a very prosperous and healthy 2008.
